Wife Sandy and I arrived for our winter stay 3 days ago. Put up feeders yesterday. I was concerned due to past reports about birds being scarce, but they're here today; in order of appearance,
-- American Crow (they don't miss a thing; going after the peanuts)
Blue Jay
Hairy Woodpecker (suet, hulled sunflower seeds)
Downy Woodpecker (suet)
Black-capped Chickadee
Mourning Dove
Northern Cardinal (1 male)
Tufted Titmouse (3-4)
Carolina Wren! (first for us in 13 years, summer or winter; suet & seeds)
American Goldfinch
