[Maine-birds] Unity area CBC's

Most results from the Unity count on December 16 have been received.  The chickadee count will be an all-time low and junco and Bald Eagle will be all-time highs.  Nothing exceptional seemed apparent for other species.

Notable finds included a Chipping Sparrow photographed at Unity College, a pair of Rusty Blackbird, five bluebirds, a Lesser Black-backed Gull, and the count's first ever Winter Wren and Ruby-crowned Kinglet.

Due to this Saturday's predicted inclement weather, the Hartland Count has been rescheduled from Saturday to Sunday.  If anyone is available to help out, please contact me off line, since the reschedule has forced some participants to drop out.

Good birding,
tom
