The three male King Eiders reported on eBird yesterday were still present this morning. Two off the end of Great Head and one off the south end of the Old Soaker in Acadia National Park. Quite a distance out and associating with Common Eiders. About at the limit of my 10X binoculars but thanks to Mike Good and his scope they were easily seen. We viewed them from the Thunder Hole overlook.
