I neglected to mention 7 American wigeon that have hung around the boat launch on Mechanic Street in recent days - likely the same group from Samoset Resort area.

Subject: [Maine-birds] SNOW in Rockland
Hi,
This morning a CT birder informed me that he was a snowy owl along the Rockland waterfront in late afternoon/evening yesterday. Typically these Rockland owls proceed to the harbor's breakwater or the nearby runways at Owls Head airport. A single snow bunting on the RTE 73 end of the airport today.
