Spent rotten Sunday bird watching thru the windows at home; counted 22 species including many, many grackles/red wings, 40 + robins visiting for the day, 2 sodden phoebes catching worms in my garden, a brief stop in by the pileated, a flicker taking advantage of suet cakes and the first eastern towhee of the year. Song, tree, and chipping sparrows also joined in with the regular diners. Went thru lots and lots of seed and suet! Sharon in West Kennebunk
