Marian Zimmerman and I birded the Fryeburg Harbor area today and found 15 American Golden Plovers. There were 10 Adults and 5 Immatures all located at the corner of Harbor Rd and Old River Road. A few birds maintained some breeding plumage. This is the largest concentration of this species that I have ever seen in Maine, a beautiful sight. Pat
