[Maine-birds] Schoodic yesterday and throughout last week

Numbers of common loon coming into greater Frenchman Bay have been on the increase.
Northern gannets are being seen on a daily basis, yesterday during a two hour watch, 18 were counted (6 sub-adults).
A diversity of warblers and thrush and other songbirds were spotted, these included:  Blackpoll, American Redstart, Northern Parula, Magnolia, Black-throated green, and Wilson's warblers;
Swainson's, Hermit, Veery, and American Robin; Rose-breasted grosbeak, catbird, ruby-throated hummingbird (9-15), and numbers of red-eyed vireo.
A single great cormorant spent a good portion of yesterday at the tip of Arey Cove.
There was also a report of a spruce grouse along the auto loop in the vicinity of Raven's Nest. However, there were no supporting photos or verifiable description.
I would like to encourage visiting birders to Schoodic peninsula to post to eBird and/or send your observations to me at the email below.
Thanks!
