A few shorebirds in front pool areas this early morning include a
mixture of the expected sandpipers: 20 semipalm; 3 least; 1
white-rumped; 10 lesser yellowlegs; 4 greater yellowlegs; 1 s-b
dowitcher; 2 stilts; 2 semipalm plover; 2 pectoral; 1 solitary ( a
flyover.) A Wilson's phalarope that arrived yesterday was still
present this morning. A mixed flock of great and snowy egrets, GBH
(80+) and 50 ring-billed gulls actively feasting on small fish. Two
pipits circling overhead.
