Last two mornings there has been a sprinkling of shorebirds at the front ponds at Weskeag. Yesterday 6 or 7 pectorals, 3 stilts, a blue-winged among the teal/black ducks. Today more of the same, joined by 3 white-rumps, a harrier, and a merlin putting on quite a show as it missed breakfast. Both yellowlegs present, semi-palmated and least sandpipers. No dowitchers and no phalarope.
Cheers,
bab
