[Maine-birds] Seabird feeding frenzy Biddeford Pool point

While searching (unsuccessfully) for the Biddeford Pool Snowy Owl today, I happened on a feeding frenzy of seabirds off the point at Biddeford Pool (viewed from the East Point Nature Sanctuary.

At first it was just a few Kittiwakes mixed in with the rest of the gulls, but more and more kittiwakes and Razorbill kept coming from all directions, swelling to numbers over 200 for each species. At the height of the action, I was surprised when a late Pomarine Jaeger (subadult/adult) showed up briefly to harass the kittiwakes. Stole a fish and then sat on the water preening for a while, before loosing interest and heading south. There were also a good number of Purple Sandpipers off the point on some of those tiny islands, and a single Horned Lark flyby at the point.
