Pat Moynahan and I did some scouting for the Portland CBC this morning.
At the Fore River Sanctuary/Fore River-Congress St. area we saw a N.
Shoveler, a TV, a pair of Kingfishers, 8 Hooded Mergansers, 2 Red-tailed
Hawks, and at least 3 of the West Greenland neck-banded Canada Geese I
reported a week ago. The flock of 230+ Canada Geese were at the fields
on Stroudwater St. earlier in the morning, then moved into the Fore
river about noon (high tide around 11:00 am).
5 Pine Grosbeaks at Roundwood, Payne Rd. Scarborough.
Wed.--2 Cedar Waxwings and 1 PIGR at Target, 5 Bluebirds at Sable Oaks
(behind the Maine Mall), 1 Creeper at Roundwood.
