The Pileated Woodpecker hangs out in the woods behind our house but the last couple of nights he has been entertaining us at supper time in the tree in our front yard.
Our male Ruby Throated Hummingbird arrived last night around 7pm, a day or two earlier than last year and was at the feeder again this morning. It was especially nice to see the two extremes within a short period of time.
We’re also been fortunate in the past few weeks to have a male and female Northern Cardinal visiting our yard.
