York County

A CLAY-COLORED SPARROW was seen on the 16th and 17th near the south end of Goose Rocks Beach in Kennebunkport.

Greater Portland

On the 18th, a DICKCISSEL was photographed in the 'Tidewater' section of Falmouth. This bird was seen in the fields located along Farm Gate Road, off Clearwater Drive.

From the Big Sit circle at Gilsland Farm in Falmouth, an 'INTERIOR' NELSON'S SPARROW was seen on the 12th. 

Midcoast

On the 16th, a YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT was photographed along Stover's Point Road in Harpswell. Nearby, an ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER was seen near Potts Point Road.

Reports from Monhegan Island this week included: 2 DICKCISSELS, and a single LARK SPARROW and CLAY-COLORED SPARROW. Late warblers being: MOURNING WARBLER, AMERICAN RED-START, CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER, and PRAIRIE WARBLER. A well described 'RED-SHAFTED' NORTHERN FLICKER was seen on the island early this week.

Penobscot Bay

During the high tide on the 13th, two 'INTERIOR' NELSON'S SPARROWS were photographed at Weskeag Marsh in South Thomaston.

Central Maine

The Nesowadnehunk region of Baxter State Park continues to host an AMERICAN THREE-TOED WOODPECKER with one being reported on the 13th.

Downeast

A juvenile LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL was reported from the Lubec Flats on the 17th.

Northern Maine

An early NORTHERN SHRIKE was photographed in Caribou on the 16th.
