[Maine-birds] Little Gull Hersey Cove, Pembroke

An adult Little Gull was seen on Hersey Cove in Pembroke feeding with 500+ Bonaparte Gulls at low tide last night at 5:45 pm. I had good views of the bird standing next to Bonaparte Gulls on the flats and also in flight as it flew from the center of the cove to the east end. Thanks to Chris Bartlett and Peter Vickery for their excellent id help with Little Gulls in Head Harbor Passage a few weeks ago. The ebird report of the sighting is at
