There was a Wilsons Snipe in the Mud by a bit of open water on Annabessacook Lake on 202 in Winthrop yesterday along with a bunch of Mallards and a pair of Hooded Mergansers.

We have a Carolina Wren at the suet and, yesterday, I saw a TV on I-95 in Newbury, Ma. I'm getting worried about the woodcock, tho. They are always back by now and we have so much snow. The only place they can go is the bit of marsh that is clear and that's SRO with ducks and geese. We also have six Pintails in the harbor which is new. And it's hard to imagine that last year our tree swallows arrived exactly one month from today.
Thinking positively,
