Hi all,
Jeannette and I enjoyed this lovely fall day birding the coast from Kittery through Wells. 8 species of sparrows, 6 species of warblers (but somehow no Palm or yellowthroat!), and a good mix of migrants and lingering birds.
Highlights included:
- Fort Foster, Kittery:
2 ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLERS
1 DICKCISSEL
3 Nashville Warblers
1 Tree Swallow
2 Carolina Wrens
- 1 American Redstart, Nubble neighborhood.
- 1 Carolina Wren, Beach Plum Farm, Ogunquit
- 1 DICKCISSEL, The Sweatshirt Shop, Rte 1, Wells.
- 1 GRASSHOPPER SPARROW, Community Park, Wells.
