The Buffalo Ranch lower field (North Bath) may look dry to the casual observer, but there are a few very shallow puddles remaining. Today they are host to 8 Pectoral Sands and a solo Killdeer. This is probably where I should have been looking for a Buff-Breasted Sand this fall. It looks perfect.
