RE: [Maine-birds] Global Big Day

Hi Folks,

I've noticed at least two species we tallied on Saturday (LETE and NOSH, both at Pelreco) does not seem to be showing up on the summary list for Cumberland County. Anyone else seeing discrepancies?

Hello all

People have been asking about how to check the totals for York and Cumberland Counties. This link (http://ebird.org/ebird/globalbigday?yr=BIGDAY_2016a&m=) takes you to the count page.

The last I checked York county had a lot more birds than Cumberland but the day isn't over.

I took out a small group of my students today in York County and they saw a great deal of birds on this beautiful day, but the highlight for them seemed to be a BROADWING HAWK carrying a frog.

I also saw a lot of other people out birding with young people, which is great. Keep getting those kids outside with binoculars!

Thanks
