[Maine-birds] This Week's Highlights, 12/10-16

Hi all,

My observations of note over the past seven days included the following:

- 1 Northern Shrike, Highland Road, Brunswick, 12/10 (with Saturday Morning Birdwalk group).

- 9 Dunlin, Wharton Point, Brunswick, 12/10 (with Saturday Morning Birdwalk group).

- 1 drake Lesser Scaup, Simpson's Point, Brunswick, 12/10 (with Saturday Morning Birdwalk group).

- 16 Horned Larks, Mayall Road, Gray/New Gloucester, 12/11 (with Birds on Tap - Roadtrip! group).

- 2 Horned Grebes, Lake Auburn, Auburn, 12/11 (with Birds on Tap - Roadtrip! group).

- 1 Winter Wren, Saco Riverwalk, 12/13 (with Jeannette).

- 2 Lapland Longspurs, 2 Savannah Sparrows, 13 Horned Larks, 1 Northern Flicker, and 1 Snow Bunting, Eastern Road Trail, Scarborough Marsh, 12/13 (with Jeannette).

- 1 AMERICAN COOT, 5 Lesser and 2 Greater Scaup, and 3 Ring-necked Ducks, etc, Grondin Pond, Scarborough, 12/13 (with Jeannette).
