[Maine-birds] Re: Warbler diversity -- Flint Woods, Farmington this AM

Hi Scott, I used to live in Farmington (a long time ago), and am not familiar with Flint woods.  Where is it located/near?  Thanks a lot, Aletha

Greetings, birding friends — got warbler neck yet? Tashi and I got pretty dizzy this morning trying to sort out the birdsong in Flint Woods in Farmington. Highlights from among 16 warbler species and other recent arrivals include an early Mourning Warbler (heard only, alongside the reservoir) and a super-frustratingly-skulkerific heard-only Tennessee Warbler undetectably traversing the gaps between trees along the Lookout Trail. We also briefly encountered an Indigo Bunting in the clear area by the reservoir. Red-eyed Vireos are definitely back in town.

Peace & good birding,
