BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHER -1 near the Rockville Street trailhead parking lot BLACK-BILLED CUCKOO - 2, right out in the open and vocalizing (that never happens for me!)
Wood Thrush - 1 singing right near the trailhead
Ovenbird - many, noted here only because we got some great close looks at several
Field Sparrow - 1 singing
Eastern Towhee - 6+

Beautiful morning on the trail, not too buggy and birds still singing at 10 a.m.
