[Maine-birds] SUMMER TANAGER, Ducktrap River Preserve

Co-led a bird walk for Belfast Bay Watershed's Bird Week walk in Coastal Mountains Land Trust's Ducktrap River Preserve on Route 52 in Lincolnville. For the three of us who lingered late, we were rewarded with a good long observation of a singing immature male SUMMER TANAGER. He was feeding in two trees on either side of the trail, about 30 yds in on the northbound trail, going back and forth, for about 1/2 hr. He was still there when we left at 10:30.

Broad winged Hawk - 1 pr
Bald Eagle - 1 ad, 1 2nd yr
