Hi Barbara,
Thanks for reporting that phoebe nest. Your home is in atlas block Alfred_CW, which has not been adopted by anyone yet, but your report still matters and we'd like to get it officially into the database. If you use eBird, it's pretty easy to assign a checklist to the atlas. If you don't use eBird yet, please consider starting. But if you would rather report using paper forms, you can download an "Incidental Report Form" from the atlas website:
Take a look at the other resources there, too, especially the breeding bird codes. Hopefully, you will be able to document those phoebes at the highest level of confidence (without disturbing them). And good luck with the cardinals and other nesting species around your place.

The phoebe(s) that has been around is finally nesting on the old nest on the light near the edge of my porch. The last time they were skitterish about my using the porch. Flew every time. I have seen other
phoebes nesting where people didn't bother them.
Anyway that's my first nest for this block ,
whatever / whosever block it is. Off New Dam Rd. In the Country Living trailer park.

Happy Mother's Day!
Cardinal is next, I hope. Gotta be MoDo's nest someplace.
Wish I could see some warblers myself. You lucky people. Going to South Point.
