[Maine-birds] Weskeag on 9/13/12

Early morning visibility was limited by fog, but a few shorebirds were
either seen or heard: least, semipal sand; b-b plover. semipalm
plover; solitary, stilt. I was surpised to see a Virginia rail fly out
of chest-high grasses, apparently changing its foraging locations. A
singing dickcissel passed over head and then landed near the paved
parking area. I took a few fogged photos. The bird was still giving
its "buzzz-fart" vocalizations when I left.
