Arrived at South Lubec Sand Flats just in time to watch a Peregrine Falcon
buzz a huge flock of roosting gulls. I don't think he caught anything, but
the sky was filled with a cloud of gulls for the next 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, at Quoddy Head, over a hundred Purple Sandpipers kept swirling
around the rocks at high tide. One Great Cormorant flew by, but that was
really the only excitement.
