[Maine-birds] New Sweden/Caribou town line: Bald eagles

Yesterday I was driving down Plante Road in Caribou (despite the different names it exactly the same road as East Road in New Sweden and simply changes identities at the towns' limits) and saw what I thought was a Bald eagle and large raven fly across the road.  It was too quick for a good ID and I didn't spot them again.

Today in a similar location my son, granddaughter and I definitely saw a Bald eagle both in a hardwood of some sort and then fly across the road to perch at the top of a tall pine tree.  There is a trapper who runs a line along the woods and fields close by.

My 3-yo granddaughter said, "He looks mad".

My son said he saw two there a couple of days ago. I know Bald eagles aren't rare, but I'd never seen one so close before.
