York County

A FIELD SPARROW continues to visit private feeders in Berwick.

The Saco River, viewed from Water Street in Saco, continues to host a BARROW'S GOLDENEYE daily that was rejoined by a pair of RING-NECKED DUCKS on the 11th.

On the 13th, a SNOWY OWL was seen on top of the chimney next to the lighthouse on Wood Island, visible from East Point Sanctuary in Biddeford Pool.

Uncommon this late in the winter, a KILLDEER was reported from the Webhannet Marsh in Wells on the 12th.

A pair of GADWALL was seen in the river south of the Nature Center at the Scarborough Marsh on the 12th.

Greater Portland

First located on the 10th, a KING EIDER continued throughout the week below the Yacht Club at Prout's Neck in Scarborough.

The sporadic visits of the 'OREGON' DARK-EYED JUNCO to feeders in Cumberland continues with a reappearance on the 14th.

Six CANVASBACKS continue in the Presumpscot River, visible from the Route 9 bridge in Falmouth.

On the 16th, 18 SNOW GEESE were seen in Windham along Route 202 near Danielle Drive.

Midcoast

A BELTED KINGFISHER was seen around the open water by the Rogers Neck Bridge in Phippsburg on the 16th.

On the 15th, an 'OREGON' DARK-EYED JUNCO was photographed in Dresden.

Penobscot Bay

A drake AMERICAN WIGEON was spotted at the Weskeag Marsh in South Thomaston on the 15th.

Downeast

Continuing from January 26th, a RUSTY BLACKBIRD has been visiting feeders off Gilbert Farm Road in Bar Harbor.

An adult RED-HEADED WOODPECKER was seen again on the 12th at private feeders in Bar Harbor.

Western Mountains

On the 16th, Brandy Pond in Naples hosted: a NORTHERN PINTAIL, a drake WOOD DUCK, and four RING-NECKED DUCKS.

Northern Maine

A NORTHERN HAWK OWL continued this week in Houlton. The bird has been seen a short distance down Access Road near York's car dealership.
