[Maine-birds] Re: Acadia National Park Website and the Ist Field Guide to the Birds of Mount Desert Island and Hancock County (Original)

Hello Seth,

Have seen some of the website for ANP and wanted to pass along the 1st Field Guide to the Birds of Mount Desert Island and Hancock County first published in 1997 for Warblers and Wildflowers Festival on Mount Desert Island.  In 2008 we changed the name to Acadia Birding Festival (May 30 – June 2, 2013) ,  and continue to educate birders about Mount Desert Island and Gulf of Maine Birds.  ANP has been an important Partner over the years and we look forward to another successful collaboration this spring.

That Birding in Acadia and Mount Desert Island  has become so popular has taken many hours of dedication and patience by the dedicated  professionals of Acadia Birding Festival.  We look forward to future collaborations.

Michael
