[Maine-birds] Prout's Neck King Eider - NO, but Bald Eagle on shore at Kettle Cove

With improved weather conditions this morning, I decided to try and re-find the King Eider Lena and Chuck found for us on Saturday at Prout's Neck.  Scoped the calm waters for a while, but no dice.  Went over to Kettle Cove and standing on the rocks just in front of the parking area was a gorgeous adult BAEA.  When i first pulled in, i thought it was a kid!  Set up the scope and treated myself (and a bunch of people there to enjoy the weather) to some great looks at this majestic bird.  Then some guy decided to bring his toddler out to get as close as he could to the eagle and of course it got nervous and flew off.  Oh well!  It was a nice look while it lasted...
