[Maine-birds] Green-winged Teal, #'s of Common Goldeneyes Auburn

Hello All,

A quick spin through the Auburn waterfront revealed 29 Common Goldeneyes at the mouth of the Little Andrscoggin River at the Little Andy boat launch.  Also one Common Merganser there.

Hanging out with the 150 so Mallard gene pool was a relatively diminutive Green-winged Teal hen.

Barred Owl heard this evening in East Livermore and also been heard in Freeport by my neighbor several times recently.  Cooper's Hawk brought inactivity to the feeders this morning.  Ravens also interchanging calls that certainly sounded like pair bonding yesterday.  They nest nearby.
