[Maine-birds] Mothpolls

With today's snow, feeder activity was frenzied, large flights of Redpolls materialized out of snowy skies in rapid, dizzying descents, mobbing feeders, reminiscent big gray moths fluttering about a summer streetlamp, only to evaporate in sudden explosive exits, repeating itself all day long. Others darted in and out to grab a bite but, today, Mothpolls ruled.
