[Maine-birds] Roughleg

The rough legged hawk was on Ram Island this morning 2-22. I went through Crescent Beach S.P. and took the path to the right which leads a brushy field. I followed that until I reached the shore line with clear views of the Island. This is much closer than Kettle cove and you can see more of the Island. The bird seemed to favor the right side near a house/garage looking building. If you do choose this view point the path starts on the right just after you pass ticket booth. I would also suggest creepers if you have them. The path was very icy. Leon
