[Maine-birds] Belfast Bay Watershed Coalition GBBC

This is a partial GBBC report.  These birds were recorded by myself and seen by others on the Footbridge at Belfast Harbor during a birdwatch exercise Saturday morning, Feb. 16.

Common Loon 2
American Black Duck 3
Mallard 14
Common Goldeneye 12
Barrow's Goldeneye 1 female
Bufflehead 11
Red-breasted Merganser 1
Peregrine Falcon 1 immature
Ring-billed Gull 1
Herring Gull 304
Iceland Gull 1 first-year bird
Glaucous Gull 1 third-year bird
Great Black-backed Gull 4 (highest number recorded on a single day so far this winter)
Rock Pigeon 6
American Crow 27 (all in one flock, which later dispersed around the harbor)

Time: 8-11 am
Temperature: 32 F
Sky: Cloudy
Wind: NW 5-15 mph
Precipitation: none
Low Tide: 9:19 am
