Ah, a beautiful day after the super, historic and epic winter storm.
At our FITWs yesterday and today and most days this winter.
Morning Doves
Chickadees
Juncos
RB Nuthatches
WB Nuthatches
Pair of Downys
Pair of Hairys
5 Titmouse
6-8 Goldfinches
2 pair of Cardials plus a couple of youngsters
Brown Creeper
A few Starlings
A few Blackbirds
While out shoveling yesterday, observed one of our neighborhood Sharpies attempting to secure a meal. After 3 tries and me shoveling, it gave up and moved on. It has had more than a dozen successful meals since Nov at the FITWs.
Silver Fox
Grey Squirrels
Red Squirrels
No Chipmunks-Think the neighborhood felines have cleaned them out back in Nov-Dec.
Mom Racoon~~~her two youngsters have dissappeared-believe Modern Wildlife Management has obscounded with them. They [MWM] were in our immediate complex area early last week. Also heard some gun fire a day before in the same complex area.
3 Deer
Have only seen the River Otter twice since last report.
The flock of 19 Turkeys have totally disappeared the past two weeks. They have been here every day [2-3 times a day] all season and not a single turkey for two weeks in the neighborhood.
Keukahawk and Sunshine
