We also had a barred owl behind our barn yesterday morning about 10:00, here in Harmony.

Looked out the window yesterday about noon and was surprised to see a barred owl sitting on top of one of our bird feeders.  It remained for about 2 hours, watching I presume for some rodent that might be scavenging seeds that had fallen from the feeders.  Things must be getting tough for this owl to be out during the day.
