As my husband got out of the truck after plowing this morning, he heard a strange sound coming from the shrub by the driveway. Close inspection revealed a Sharp-shinned hawk struggling with a Starling. I grabbed my camera (boots and jacket first!) and stomped out through the snow for a photo shoot.
