I stepped outside early evening tonight and saw a flock of nighthawks soaring low over our house and neighborhood. After watching for a while, Jeff and I counted at least 30.
Also, after a day at Grafton Notch yesterday, we saw two nighthawks in Bethel, passing over the village.
