After work went hunting for the Mew Gull that Don Reimer relocated today. Searching all previous locations with no results we decided to circle Oceanside HS in Thomaston. Looking up at the flat roof she spotted a small gull on edge of the roof. It had all the field marks that has been mention.
The gull disappeared but Linda later found it alone on the ballfield.
Setting up scope you could see the dark eyes ,rounder head, greenish bill and leg color.
Watching it from 6:45 till 7:30 feeding by itself on the ballfield when the gull flew to a light pole and stayed for another 15 mins giving time for John Tobin to score a life bird. The gull finally flew East towards the river.
Thanks to Don Reimer for finding gull.
