While my navigator visited favorite shops, I birded Rockland's Dowling Walsh Gallery finding numerous groups of excellent primitive wood sculptures of common shorebirds gracing shelves just inside the front door. I found numerous crows, in various serious poses, hanging from the walls.
-- Since we were there, we swung by McClain School at the junction of Lincoln & Summer Street, on the strength of Bruce Barter's recent Fish Crow post, and found one of the little buggers high in a tree calling almost continuously.
