Hi Don,
-- Would you tell me the best locations for birding on the marsh? I am headed to Rockland this week with my Ornithology class (Colby College), and it would be great to be most efficient with our time. Any additional tips you may have for the area, would also be much appreciated.
Thanks a bunch,
Tony

The heavy rain and high tides opened up much of the marsh today. Afternoon species included 8 great blue herons, 20 CAGOs, 80 black ducks, 3 gadwall, 1 drake shoveler, 3 pintails, 1 common merg. About 150 ring-billed gulls plunge diving on small fish in the main channel.Don
