York County

The Nubble Lighthouse in Cape Neddick continues to be reliable for SNOWY OWLS with one still being reported through this week.

On the 25th, a SNOWY OWL was reported in Moody Marsh, on the north side of Furbish Road in Wells.

A SNOWY OWL was seen atop Mount Agamenticus in York on the 23rd.

On the 28th, two PIPING PLOVERS and a SNOWY OWL were seen at Goose Rocks Beach in Kennebunkport.

At least two SNOWY OWLS continue to be reported around Biddeford Pool this week.

There was a CANVASBACK reported as seen flying by the dock at Camp Ellis on the 23rd.

On the 22nd, a SANDHILL CRANE was reported from the corner of Hollis Road and Route 5 in Dayton.

Greater Portland

A pair of CANVASBACK continued to be seen this week in the Presumpscot River, near the Saccarappa Falls in Westbrook, though only the drake was seen on the 28th.

Beginning on the 24th, a SNOWY OWL was been seen at Sandy Point on Chebeague Island.

The hawkcount at Bradbury Mountain State Park in Pownal reported an impressive flight on the 23rd, highlighted by 35 RED-SHOULDERED HAWKS and 75 RED-TAILED HAWKS.

Midcoast

A WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW has reportedly been overwintering at feeders along Bunker Hill Road in Newcastle.

Central Maine

17 BOHEMIAN WAXWINGS were reported from the Littlefield Ornamental Gardens at the University of Maine in Orono on the 27th.

Downeast

A SNOWY OWL that has been seen for "many weeks" continued along Leighton Point Road in Pembroke on the morning of the 26th.

Northern Maine

SNOWY OWLS continue to be seen along Route 1 in Presque Isle. One has been dependable on the "PT" Barn north of town. A second bird was being seen just a quarter mile to the south.

Another SNOWY OWL was reported on the 25th along Green Ridge Road in Fort Fairfield.
