At Aunt Betty Pond in Acadia on Thursday around 1 o'clock, saw what I think was a juvenile Golden Eagle fly over. Distinct white patches at base of primaries on an otherwise dark bird. Does anyone know of nesting Golden Eagles on MDI, or might this juve be a migrant?
