On Monday morning Jennifer and I sorted through about 200 Black Ducks and Mallards along the shore of Deep Cove in Eastport and found 3 drake Gadwalls, 1 hen Gadwall and 1 drake Am Widgeon. The drake Gadwalls and Widgeon are likely the same ducks observed by Chris Barlett for the past several weeks.
-- We also heard from Fred and Linda Gralinsky that the Snowy Owl seen on Leighton Pt. Road for a number of weeks is still there as of last Saturday.
