[Maine-birds] Scarborough Marsh migrants

I birded around the Scarborough Marsh today was happy to see a pair of Wood Ducks and pair of Ring-Necked Ducks at Dunstan Landing. Also had a flyover Merlin from the Blackpoint Rd side of the Eastern Rd trail. Other highlights were small flocks of singing Red-Winged Blackbirds and Common Grackles, lots of singing Tree Sparrows, and all three mergansers throughout the marsh.

Other signs of spring today was a male cardinal feeding his mate on my deck and being able to walk the Eastern Rd trail without a coat!

Bird haahd,
