[Maine-birds] Ducks, Rockland area ponds, 11.3.14

Thanks to most of the area, including my office, still having no power, I had some unexpected free time to bird today.

On Chickawaukie Lake, from "beach" parking lot on Route 17:
Ruddy Duck - 4
(3-4 other ducks, also, but no vantage point from which to scope them with all the roadside snow)
Red-tailed Hawk - 1

On Maces Pond, from Rt 17:
Ring-necked Duck - 3
Bufflehead - 9
Hooded Merganser - 12
Turkey Vulture - 3 (headed south)
