Hi all -- Marathon round-trip day yesterday for a meeting in Limestone, Aroostook County. Took a modest detour onto the Ward Road in W. Limestone around 5pm. Just south of Trafton Lake in freshly harvested potato fields, my friend and I found a flock of 90+ Horned Lark and a N. Harrier. The flock was kicked up by the Harrier at one point which made estimating easier. Could have been 120 or so, but I'm trying to be conservative.
-- Also had a single Turkey Vulture above the Interstate in Crystal, s. Aroostook County.
Best,
Craig K
