Some friends and I had good looks at a singing Northern Waterthrush this morning, along the Pemaquid River at Crooked Farm Preserve in Bristol. The area also had many singing Blue-headed Vireos, and we got to see a couple of them (male and female) up close in some low trees. Saw Brown Creeper and Hermit Thrush. Also heard Winter Wrens, many Yellow-rumps, Black-throated Green Warbler. Overhead were two Broad-wings, four Bald Eagles, and two Osprey. A good spot!
