[Maine-birds] Cape Elizabeth Migrants

After a rather slow and tedious migrant hunt this fall i was down on my luck...and of course we are going through the mid-to-late innings of another season. Anywho Monday morning before work I was pleasantly sunrised to find both ruby and golden-crowned kinglets, a fall Blackpoll and a Brown Creeper to boot.

This morning was equally as rewarding. The tall White Oaks on the north side of our property were full of activity. Specifically there must have been 50 (my wife says a hundred or more) Blackpoll warblers high up on the canopy. Upon closer inspection I was able to nab my #103 yard bird with a beauteous Black throated Blue warbler amongst the bunch.

Also my wife said that there were warblers (Blackburian and Blackpoll) all over the place and all day!

Good birding,

Elias
