[Maine-birds] Duckage

Pat Moynihan and I observed a wonderful duck show. Sebasticook Lake is brimming over! Low estimate of 1000 common mergansers as well as a single pintail and goodly numbers of ruddy, g/l scaup, ring necked, lots of hooded mergs. The common merge were shore to shore. 5 bald eagles enjoyed the show with us.

Other birds today: continuing Dickcissel Clinton, pine grosbeaks Ward Hill and near Winterport Rte 69. Nothing doing at Kaler St when we stopped by at 12
