Several of you who have been in to see the Dickcissel have also seen the "white" House Sparrow. I have been guilty of describing it at caring times as either leucitic and partial albino.
Sibly says in leucism dilute normal patterns are visible but paler. Partial albino is where all or some feathers are all white.
I have watched the bird for 4 years and see no patterns. I think it should be described as partial albino.
Does anyone want to weight in on this?
